well if the engine is seized and cant be turned over to remove the torque converter bolts.....its a giant job as engine now has to go forward about another 4-6" due to extra length of torque converter being bolted to crankshaft. If the torque converter bolts cant be removed it basically doubles the workload of its removal. Im a decent mechanic and ill NEVER do it again.....wasnt cost effective for me....and i didnt charge myself labor fees!!! If all comes out without above mentioned problems...just look everything over really well and compare side to side(engine to engine) and whats missing from new engine will have to be added from old engine. be careful of pinching electrical wires in bellhousing and be absolutely positive the torque converter is fully engaged into tranny before new install attempt. Basically you shouldnt be able to put your fingers between the bellhousing and torque converter when its fully seated and then look at it sideways and make sure the studs and are not protruding beyond the front of the bellhousing. Good luck...its a tight fit in them blazers.

When reconnecting electrical plugs....most(not all) will have a "click" feel as they fully seat. Many people overlook this and the contacts may not be all made if it isnt fully clicked into place.
The top driver side bellhousing bolt and the one just below it are a pain, lol. Enjoy. Make sure the replacement engine has provisions for a crank sensor. You can use a 2wd motor you just need to swap over your oil pan and oil filter adapter. It's a bear of a job as far as engine swaps go. The only things that make it easier is if you have a body lift. Unbolt the exhaust manifolds at the flange, you can take the driver side one out completly for added clearance.
What is it, used for does it have anything to do with , making a Blazer no run ,starts then dies ,if this part was removed or loosened would itake. Undrivelableand where does it go on the motor
