1997 marked the 30th anniversary of the Camaro. A 30th Anniversary Package was offered to honor this accomplishment. The vehicles were painted white with orange stripes. 100 of the Anniversary Camaros were given the LT4 engine with 330 horsepower; a thirty-eight thousand dollar price tag accompanied the vehicle. Says nothing about a 1995 in the article.

I found this --- "The standard powerplant from 1993-1995 was a 3.4 liter V6. A more powerful 3.8 liter V6 was introduced as an option in 1995 and made standard in 1996. A 350 MPFI (LT1) Small Block V-8 engine, which was introduced in the Corvette in 1992, was standard in the Z28"

i know and seen and was there in 1968 - 1969 there was a phase 3 ss camaro right from bawlen chevy in long island who likned up with motion performance about 5 block away. I wont go into what the car had in it but the block was a 454 not only a camaro you could buy but any chevy that was hot in those days. "The sales men told me you buy it and when you ready take it to the track if it dose not turn 10 in the 1/4 mile you bring it back to us with the slip of what it turn and will make it turn 10" Just a fyi on the day when you would get pushed back in the seat coming off the line

1993-1995 was the LT1....a good motor with optispark issues. It is preferred by many over the LT4 which replaced it with some having piston slap issues. Technically they are all vette motors but std vette motors with slightly less HP due to exhaust restrictions. The convertibles were also top speed restricted with a govenor holding it at i think i recall 126 mph same on vette convertibles too
