06 sorento lx      have an auto to swap in    what issues will i encounter and  do
i need a computor   change      wife wants an auto for winter driving

Total nightmare to do something like this. Even worse on the vehicle that’s considered a throwaway. You would be better off buying an automatic vehicle, just stay away from KIA, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Chrysler and anything European. Unless you have very deep pockets.
