Why won't my 2007 Chrysler 300C 5.7lt AWD start every time?

Asked by jcv8907 Apr 18, 2014 at 09:20 PM about the 2007 Chrysler 300 C AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car starts fine in the morning, sits for 5-7 hours at work then won't start. Turns over fine,
no problem there, just doesn't fire. I have to hold the key for almost 10 seconds before
the engine fires up. Mechanic said it was the fuel pump, but can't figure out which one.
Apparently there are 2 of them? Once it's running it runs and starts fine after that. This is
an every day problem, sometimes multiple times a day.
