07 Chrysler 300 makes squealing noise when driving slow from the rear

Asked by Charlynn Dec 30, 2022 at 04:52 PM about the 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring AWD

Question type: General

My Chrysler 300 randomly started making a squealing noise while driving slow
but not when I push on the brake and not when backing up. Could it just be
brake pads?

Yes, it could be the brake pads are worn, or the clips are broken or missing. Maybe even the parking brake cable could cause noises like that. Time to inspect the rear brakes.

Could be the sounders on the brakes, they will make noise then stop if you push the brake pedal, I would have the brakes checked at your favorite independent shop.
