Who is my 4wheel drive change on it’s own?

Asked by Yukon_Gal3 Aug 02, 2020 at 12:11 PM about the 2006 GMC Yukon SLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having an issue with my 4 wheel drive. I’m on
regular road at all times the weather is good the
road is dry. However my 2006 GMC Yukon will
change on it’s on from 4 wheel to 4 hi or low on it’s
on. Now it’s constantly on 4hi even if I press the
button for 4wheel drive it’ll light up and say it’s on 4
wheel but on turns my tires seem as if the grip of
life are on them it’ll make noises and feel as if it
does not want to turn then once parked I’ll look and
it’ll be right back on 4hi. What do I do? Thanks in
advance!
