when putting spark plug wires back on distributor, what is the order?

Asked by 19Timothy57 Jul 16, 2013 at 03:34 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the spark plugs and labeled the spark plug wires from the distributor.  By time I
finished putting the new plugs in the numbers had been smudged.  What order do they go
in?  Actually which cylinder is one, two etc?

You should have a 3100 v-6 engine in that car. Here is the clearest diagram that I can find. This is a distributorless engine. DIS. It's called a coil pack. If you have a 3.1 the order is the same the pack is just on the front of the motor above the starter. If you don't either of these motors let me know and I can help.
