My 2001 Yukon XL 5.3 L alarm system sounds occasionally when I open the door

The alarm sounds when I unlock the door with the key(I don't have the electronic fob). I would like to DISABLE the alarm completely. It's more trouble than it's worth as nobody (including police) pays any attention to alarms anymore.

Unfortunately you can not disable the alarm system. When using the key just go to unlock the car. Turning the key back and forth may be setting the alarm off. You should invest in a FOB for the car.

I need help to take out my old alarm on 2005 GMC Yukon help please it wont start and my remotes to the alarm are broken
