I have an 2007 PT, TE Won't start

Asked by diogiiorio Aug 15, 2017 at 11:19 AM about the 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just got this car yesterday, had to jump it to get it home. I checked the battery, it needed water, which I added.  Put the battery on charge, its reading full charge, but it won't turn over, all I get is ticking.  What else can I try?

Sounds like bad connection at the battery terminals (corrosion) or starter relay or even starter.

Sorry I forgot something my PT cruiser 2005 what worked for me I took the gas cap off replaced the fuel.pump relay and the ASD relay and it started had to drive it about 70 miles for the light to stay off after all was cleared this works for new 02 sensors as well to get the light to stay off. Pay it forward please Chrysler won't tell you this they point you to PCU... in some cases it may be PCU but not all I find it hard to believe. Hope it works!
