while turning right I could not turn the steering wheel it seemed to lock up my battery symbol showed on the dash

You probably have low power steering fluid, a bad p.s. pump or a bad steering rack. If its low on fluid fill it up to the proper level then look for a leak. Which could be the pump, rack or as simple as a p.s. hose.

On my 2003 Chrysler Town and Country LX mini van the steering column is sticking making it hard.to turn. my power steering fluid is full. I'm worried I'm going to be turning in traffic and won't be able to finish my turn leaving me in a direct line to be hit.Do you know what the problem is and could this be and is be a recall issue
