Engine ping

2006 red line, put new motor in drive
about 30,000 miles on it, faithfully
checked and added oil.....took the
head off,  But not sure where to go
from here any help would be great

What lead you to remove the head? Engine ping can be caused by low octane fuel or engine timing.

It happens at start up, and acceleration..... was dying out on me! Supercharger did not have the filter, or air box? Motor out of a wrecked car, I bought it with a motor that had overheated
