2000 Saturn started and then stopped. Now it won't start. It turns over. Sounds like starter isn't engaging. Suggestions?

If it turns over the starter is engaged.

Do you have gas in the tank? If so it could be a fuel pump. It could be a long list of things like: spark plugs, plug wires/boots, coil packs, one of many sensors on or around the engine. Any warning lights on in the dash?

I have 3/4 tank of gas. No warning lights. Fuel pump replaced 3 years ago. Again, thank you, TransAm77
Try the tune up parts I mentioned above. Plugs, wires/boots, coil packs ect.

could be the timing chain slippage, partial recalls for that...see http://www.ncconsumer.org/news-articles/nccc-advises-consumers-to- avoid-22l-saturn-l-series-vehicles.html for more info
