I need help with my Saturn

Asked by Marissa Apr 25, 2021 at 10:27 PM about the 2001 Saturn L-Series 4 Dr LW200 Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Saturn Wagon that I need
some help with. I had the fuel pumps
replaced twice,  got a new battery, put
new fuses in and still nothing. I am
running out of things to do or try. It will
crank but not start, it acts like it wants
to start but it wont. It has a full tank of
gas but the gas gauge is reading
empty.

The fuel sending unit is faulty if your gas gauge is not reading correctly. That should be in the full tank. You must have not installed it correctly when replacing the pump. The car should start though even if the sending unit is bad. I would check the fuel relay next.
