Where is the Emergency Fuel Cut off Switch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently bought a 2003 SW300 Saturn Station wagon.  The owner said he hit a speed bump hard and then the car died and would not start anymore.  He thought it was a fuel pump, so I had a mechanic replace that.  He also checked all wires and computer, it is ok, only no power to the fuel pump.  He tested the pump, it runs.  He says the emergency fuel cut off switch is the problem, only he cannot find it and no other local dealer knows where it is (or they will not tell).  Can you please help us find that switch?

Have a look online but usually they are in the passenger foot well area and they call them a inertia switch. Good Luck!

Have checked online, but nothing so far. If I had specific details, illustrations, pictures, for that exact car model (2003 Saturn Station wagon, L series, 4 door), that would be much better in helping me locate the switch.

I bottomed out on a rough road with my 2000 LS1. It died on me. It would crank but not start. After about a half hour of roadside inspection, I found that one of my ignition fuses had blown. (30A) #4 fuse from fender side. Replaced it, and, voila, cranked right up. It’s still a mystery to me why bottoming out would blow the fuse.
