what can i do tp improve my mpg on my 97 sl1?

i have a saturn sl1 4 door with about 89000 miles on it. i have 4 news tires and the engine is in great shape . fluids all changed when they need to be , tire pressure always up to spec. i was wondering if there is anything not to pricey that i can do to improve my mpg ? any ideas?

Try changing your driving style, be very gentle on the gas and let off if you are going downhill or if possible put your car into neutral... I have a 97 SW1 and im getting about 40MPG on it, change your air filter, its very common that that one part gets overlooked and will cause your MPG to go down faster than a cheap date. Also, make sure that the trans shifting style selector (the little button that says "Norm" and "Sport" I believe is set to Norm)
