Open the hood you'll see I believe it's a red looped dipstick that's how you check the transmission fluid and look in your glove box manual and it will tell you the procedures and how to check your transmission fluid you have to drive the car for about 10-15 miles to warm it up and it has to be running go through select all the gears while you have the car in park and then put it all the way back in the Park after you run it through all the gears then you check the level on the dipstick and whatever the lowest level is on both sides of the stick is the level of what is in the transmission and then if you're going to change the fluid you have to take off the oil pan and change the Gasket on the pan and change out the fluid and put a new filter in there's a special procedure if you wanted to exchange the fluid which means taking new fluid in and pumping out the old fluid but the vehicle has to be running and you have to pump it out of the transmission oil cooler it's a little bit more complicated you can get that done if you don't know how to do it good luck
