Changed radios in 98 saturn sl2 4 d SD now won't start

98 saturn sl2 won't start after changing
radios .its like my starter won't go
enough to turn engine over.i wired
everything right except I'm not sure
about 4 wires 2 are speakers yellow
and brown 1 brown is dimmer park
lights illumination ECT.and one yellow
no idea all I know is they are identical
to the freaking speaker wires .please
help

Normally yellow goes to ignition switch. You should have 2 positive wires, 1 hot at all times for clock and presets memory (orange) and 1 from ignition switch (yellow)if you use multimeter for voltage (negative to ground) you can find the positive wires (will need switch in on/accessory to find the one going to ignition) from there you can use resistance on the other yellow and find the brown wire that connects to the speaker (back left)

Thank you that helps a lot I still have another brown do you know if it connects to switch yellow or constant orange

Check with the radio manufacturer for a wiring diagram.

I dont believe it connects to either, it sounds like you have a wire hiding in the stereo compartment somewhere

Or is the other brown wire that you have coming from dash already? A picture may help to get finished
