1999 Saturn sc1 16 valve twin cam automatic

I drive a 99 Saturn sc1 with a 16 valve twin cam
automatic.. but every Time I look it up it says the
16 valve twin cam is on the sc2 series and its a
manual.. but I know what I'm driveing im just
trying to figure out why my engine says diffrent
from the Saturn websites... if the sc1 series is
exspose to be a single cam and the sc2 is the dual
cam then why am I driving a 99 Saturn sc1 series
with a dual cam 16 valve auto trans...

As far as I know all the SC1 s have a single cam engine the sc2 is a twin cam engine so unless somebody did an engine overhaul and put a twin cam in your car that's the only reason I would see why you would have a different engine in there you could check you know your engine numbers matching your body of your vehicle it's kind of an involved search have never done it before but you can compare manufacturing numbers on the engine and on the frame of the car to see if the engine came with the car that's all I can recommend.
