My 1999 Saturn 3dr Coupe sometimes my ignition switch won't work and now my turn signals don't work.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Saturn Coupe. My ignition switch at times won't work along with my currently not working turn signals. Last month or so, my wipers wouldn't turn off. Where should I look for a short or the problem, please?

Usually with these modern cars it's usually your body control module that controls all the functions in your vehicle usually it's a suspect in these issues that you are having. It could be water intrusion in the body control module to make it react like this but find your body control module make sure it has clean connections at the harness and the unit itself you might want to take the panel off the unit separate it and see if all the contacts are clean I would try that and then of course check your fuses and any wiring that you might see that might be loose.

Paul Martin answered that it might be the Body Control Module. The 1999 Saturn I own and asked this question about does not have a Body Control Module. It is called an Engine Control Module and I've found when inquiring about the problem I am having with this car, that it's important to understand the name of the part that could be the problem. I still need an answer. Thanx to all who have read my question.
