when i put transmission fluid in my car it just runs out it seems like its right below where i put the fluid in that it pours out

i can shift my shifter all the way through the shift pattern but my car wont go anywhere. i have a 5 speed. i pour trans fluid in and it just runs out

make sure the tube that you put fluid in is attached the the transmission. if that's the case there might be hope. But it might be a hole in the pan.
or a hole in the side of the trans. Any recent *BANG*s?
So this is a stick shift? Your not useing atf are you? If you feel it go into the gears but wont move its more likely a clutch problem.
5 speed = stick shift. And he should be using ATF(Dex III).
Learn something new everyday. But a stick doesnt use fluid pressure to engauge gears. So even if the fluid is completly gone it will still go. Just not long. On most manual transmission you simply fill to the bottom of the fill hole. When it starts dripping out put the bolt back in and good to go. Not familiar with Saturn but thats how its normally done.
Manual transaxles need 2.5qt. Autos need twice that. But if the OP would respond sometime soon, we can find out if his turd is riding the crimson wave or not.
whats the tube? if that breaks why won,y the car move at all
