put new wheel berring on wrong side can i take it out and put it in other side and put original one back in

My mechanic misdiagnosed the wrong side and put in a new wheel Bering
hub on wrong side. Can i take out the new wheel bering  put it in right and put
the original wheel bering back in left

Yes the bearing goes on the right or left side. But the problem is to get the old hub assembly out. There usually corroded in and requires some pounding with a slide hammer or something which bernells (causing flat spots) on the bearings. You are suppose to change out both of them anyway when one goes bad. These bearing hub assemblies are not that expensive. I would just put another bearing in.
