My 2002 Saturn SC2 wont turn over, not even trying to. Battery is good.

Asked by giddyupgirl Oct 16, 2014 at 07:58 PM about the 2002 Saturn S-Series 3 Dr SC2 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn the key and all the dash lights start to blink on and off, when I turn the key all the
way everything goes blank. Motor makes no noise, not even the fuel pump. The shifter
is in park and I moved it back and forth to make sure it was in place, still nothing. The
fuse box under the radio makes a clicking noise along with the lights going on and off. I
checked all the fuses and they where good also.  This is a daily driver and it was still
warm from the drive home when this happened. Any Ideas?

Have you tried starting it while in neutral? Are ALL of your connections to the battery, in and out of the fuse box under the hood, and to the starter, clean and tight?
