where is the relay located for the air pump.

Check ur fuse boxes.

I know it's in the fuse box under the hood, but which relay?, there are at least about 5 of them. Since the smog pump works intermitingly, it's hard to pinpoint.

It may not even be a relay it could be that the smog pumps wearing out because what happens is it fires up in the beginning of startup when your engine's cold and then it turns itself off it could be worn out you may have to go to a junkyard and get another one I had to do that one time all those relays under your hood are alike all the same you could switch those you know take one out swap it with another one and if one works on one relay bank then take it and put it in the other one you think isn't working and that way you find out which ones bad because all those relays aren't bad I would swap the relays around I'm pretty sure they're all about the same size Etc
