My car died and wouldn't start from jumper cables. Got a new battery but it still won't start. Why?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My car initially started fine, then died and wouldn't start again, even when hooked up to
jumper cables. I got the battery tested and it showed it was bad, but even after replacing
the battery my car won't turn over. Why?

Do the lights on dashboard come on? It could have something to do with BCM needing to be reprogrammed. I have to admit that Saturn Vue XR 2008 has the most sensitive and touchy on board computer modules I've ever known. In my opinion its a miracle these vehicle even run!

It could be a bad starter relay, bad starter, bad battery cables or loose cable connections. I had a similar problem with a Lexus that would not turn over. I replaced the battery and it still failed to turn over, replaced the starter and all was OK. Another car, a Volvo, would not turn over until starter relay was replaced.

WHAT CAN MAKE YOUR BATTERY A AND VAN DIE OUT AND WHEN YOUR DRIVE IT WHAT CAN MAKE IT STOP RUN
