The exact same engine as you have now.

I guess I forgot to mention I have the 4.2 v6 and want to put a v8 engine in it
You would be better off buying a V8 truck but this is possible. Buy a running donor V8 truck of the same year if you can.

I mean if I had to I could come up with the extra funds to grab the tranny and bell housing that comes with the Triton and swap them as well as long as it's all good and not blown
FOR's right, dump the 6 cylinder truck and get a V8 truck if that's what you want. It's not like the old days of swapping motors as long as the bell housing matched up. Nowadays you have to swap out everything, computer modules, wire harnesses, exhaust, O2 sensors, tranny, mounts, you have to flash the computer to make it compatible, then you may have to have it all pass an emissions test. All that's going to cost you more than 400.
You need to swap the engine, transmission, wiring and ECU along with the exhaust system to be successful. A running donor truck will have everything you need.
Ken is right. $400 will buy you a set of Lighting badges, not a supercharged truck.
With your budget a free truck is not nearly enough. The truck donates the engine. Got it?
How about some thumbs up dude? The pay here sucks ;)
