Question type: General

2007 Ford Truck that has not been started in 2 years, Battery dead was dead and would not jump so I replaced the battery.  Still will not start even though we can hear a click.  Dashboard light with a lock symbol starts flashing when first turn the key and stays on after trying to start.

Do you have an owners manual? They hide information about theft systems and other stuff in there. Just joking if you can hear the starter click double check battery cables and make sure they are all connected sometimes it's easy to miss them, if good try to tap starter with a hammer while someone hits the switch be careful if you have to go underneath
