Oil leaking by right rear wheel

Asked by Hoffamamma4 Apr 10, 2018 at 01:15 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 2007 Suburban, when parked, there is a
sizable amount of oil on the ground by the inside of
the right rear wheel. What is this oil coming from?

If it is heavy oil you have a leaking axle seal. Make sure it is not brake fluid.
