Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Chevy suburban 5.3 liter engine code 3 that
will not crank or start.  I checked all fuses they are good.  I
jumped the starter and it crank perfectly when jumped. My
starter relay is good and the run/crank relay is good.  My
fuel pump relay isn't showing any signs of power getting to
it. I replaced the battery for good measures. Changed out
the crank sensor as well.  When I turn the key nothing
happens.  I have limited power throughout the vehicle, my
radio works the windows work the horn works half my dash
works my headlights work but can't turn on high beams, the
door locks don't work the interior lights don't work I'm so
lost now.  I even check the positive and negative cables
coming from the battery and they are showing that the
have power or continuity.  Any ideas?

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. This is part of starter wiring diagram, you can see the start fuse, not only check the fuse, have a helper turn key to crank, use test light to check for voltage on fuse circuit. If no voltage then the relay isn't energized. The relay has two sides, in the diagram, the right side is the switch side. The left side is control side of relay, the control side needs voltage and ground. I did look at your security system, pk3, it appears it will disable your starter motor circuit. If that is the problem, you could try 30 minute relearn procedure, turn on the key, after 10 minutes the security lamp goes out, remove the key, do it twice more for a total of 30 minutes. Hopefully then it will start and run? Also, You have to be sure about voltage and ground circuits for the vehicle.

battery has a full charge and tested good. checked all connections and cleaned what needed cleaning. the start fuse is fine. the relays tested out ok as well. i have tried the 30 minute relearn process 4 times with no success. all the grounds i could find seemed to be in good order as well. just replaced the ignition switch and still no luck. if i cant figure something out soon im gonna bite the bullet and have it towed to an auto electric shop or the dealership and have them bang their head at this problem.
