Hello I have 2007 Chevy Tahoe LS and it was working fine until the other morning I
tried to use the remote to unlock it and the remote didn't work. I used the key to open
it and heard a clicking sound that sounded like it was coming from the power lock and
window controls but the vehicle wouldn't start in fact there was no power what so ever.
It looked as if all the gauge needles were jumping but only a little. Tried it again today
and I didn't even hear the clicking sounds, tried to get a jump from jumper cables
thinking it was a battery issue and still no power. What could the problem be? Thought
about checking the fuses but haven't done so yet.

With key in, do headlights work? Radio? Of course, checking fuses is always a place to start, but it sounds like a dead battery.If you have cables, hook up your other car, leave it running, and give it 10 minutes. Then try to start. If you have AAA, they will come and test your battery, as well as your charging system. Plus, they sell decent batteries at a AAA discount, and will replace it later on a good warranty. Joining AAA is never a bad idea, they are great, and the basic membership is cheap. (PS - sounds dumb, but is it in Park? Also, some cars require your foot on the break to start?)
