07 Tahoe - Rear window latch

My 07 Tahoe has been broken into twice in the last 90 days and the nav/radio unit stolen. After the first break in I had  a professional install a car alarm with glass break, motion sensing and a contact on the rear window release latch.  Both times they came in the same way by taking a screw driver/crow bar and popping open the rear glass.  My question is - is there some sort of after market latch protector I can install - like the metal plates you see on commercial door jambs surrounding the deadbolt area?  Does any one know what that device might be called or where I might look online to find one?

I did everything I knew to do - installed a motion sensor spot light, installed the alarm - I never did keep any valuables in plain sight - can't move for now.

Plexiglass, it's a bit expensive but bullet resistant to a certain degree... they would need a big loud saw to break in.... it would pay for itself after one attempted break
