03 4200 vortec swap to 07 trailblazer

ibought a 03 trailblazer with 4200 and 4l60e    . im wanting
to swap motor and tranny in my 07 trailblazer.

Wiring is different for sure for both engine and tranny. Stick with 06+, has more HP than 02/03, and tranny is a tad bit stronger. That being said, anything can be done, but at what cost. You'll need the PCM and ECM from the 03 to go into the 07, plus more. 07 has an MAF, 03 does not. Temp sensor on the 03 is just above the thermostat, 06+ is on the other side of engine, creates more wiring issues. It's not a plug and play like most other things on our platform.
