Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Dodge Caravan won't turn on.  It is stuck in park
and in OFF.  Just bought in Aug 17  &  within first month
having transmission issues and finally got  new
transmission Dec. 1.  Since then, it has been hard to turn
car to OFF (have to wait for a click).  Turned it off today and
now won't turn on (locked at OFF).  Had to have towed to
house.

Also, the battery to car is fine and battery to FOB is fine. The steering wheel is able to move and when try to move and start, still stuck in Off.

Thank you, also found out there was a recall in 2014 regarding the FOB, apparently my VIN is not registered as having been fixed.
