2007 hhr chevy transmission fluid how to check

If it's anything like my 2009, you can't. The transmissions are sealed. You just have to go by the manufacturers maintenance schedule to have it checked or changed. Of course, if it's leaking, take it in right away and get it looked at.
there are 2 plugs on the bottom of the trans that are labeled check and the other is labeled drain. have the car on a flat serface and remove the check plug, a lil fluid should come out. if not it is low and you should add some dextron VI untill it dribbles out. the trand takes about 7 quarts.
Your transmission does not have a dipstick. Read the owners manual and it will tell you the service requirements for your automatic transmission.
biggest trashy setup ever made very poor setup
Mine is a 2011 HHR with a 2.2 eng. Check screw (11mm) is located on bottom, near pass. axle. A short socket or wrench, oil pan, rag an rachet is all thats needed.
Our 2011 HHR (same as 2005- 2011) has a 2.2 eng. The full plug, is a 11mm screw. Using a pan, rag, and a short socket and rachet or wrench will remove it to see if it is full.
It's under the car on transmission it says check. I do have to say I hate this vehicle tho. The room in it is horrible to be the size it is and it was poorly designed.
It's not the Vehicle, all of the newer GM Vehicles have no Dip Stick. I have a 2017 Colorado Z71, No Dipstick. I guess GM wants you to bring it to the shop for service. It is very easy to change, the challenge is figuring out what Fluid to use since its not a complete Flush most of the time.
How can you check it on 2009 HHR
