Here's a video that talks about P0300 code..could be se veral things...spark plugs at 2 or more are bad...fuel filter or pump(low fuel pressure can cause random misfire)...chk the battery if its weak it can cause it too. Also could be a broken vacuum line...or leak around exhaust manifold.

After replacing all lifters, four valves, and Vlom and it still messing up after driving for 15-20 minutes. I realized it maybe didn’t have enough oil pressure to execute cylinder deactivation so I took it to a shop and had him unlock the ecu and delete the afm feature. Now it drives great. The bullshit of it is that a gm store will tell you need a new motor And so will GM enigneers even though they know they could just delete but they won’t. The gen4 5.3 motor was designed to do cylinder activation by using oil pressure, which it robs from the motor. The gen3s didn’t do this and they can rub 3-400k miles the gen4 motors will only run 120-150k miles before the oil pump is worn down enough to where it can’t provide enough pressure to execute cylinder deactivation. I’m not a tech and I’m just going off what my guy is telling me. I’m hoping this helps y’all.

I think sensors all start failing after 10 yrs and I'll be trading mine in. Loved it for 10 yrs but $3K in repairs last year and now tire sensor and ECU both need service? What next? How many post-its do you have to use to cover alarms, LOL. I'm done. Will miss it a lot. Also leaks in rain/snow into both driver and passenger sides now so complementary steam up when sun comes out. . .
