thank you - everytime this happens - the stabletrak light comes on...messages stabletrak is off - or service stabletrak....frustrating...had car in to fix 4-5 x already....thank you for your suggestion.

Mine does that too and I have found if I put my wheels completely straight then I can get my key out, sometimes. This is a problem with these Torrents that should be recalled. It happens everyday, every single time I got to get my key out.

I have found that triggering the button on the shifter until I hear a clicking in the dash board area near the steering wheel will release it. But sometimes it takes a bit and is getting worse on my Torrent
