Either a bad valve guide, or the oil ring on the piston.
The chamber is full of oil or the spark plug area is full of oil? Is there a valve cover seal for the spark plug hole that could have failed? I would just hate for it NOT to be the valve guide / oil ring and you have it "fixed"... but RF is accurate if it's in the chamber
Good thought walth...if it was burning the oil threw the cylinder there would be blue smoke out the exhaust.
