I have a 1994 Chevy blazer i was told the motor was changed now i dont know if its a 350 or 305 if it helps the bolt go down through the middle of the valve covers can u give me the codes for both

the motor but i was told it was on
the pass side and someone else
said driver side and then i was
told up front on the head by the
altinator help me please

It really doesn't matter unless your buying pistons and connecting rods. Or other similar major parts. The stamp on the block is almost impossible to see with it in the truck. You could take the valve covers off and look up the head casting numbers. Heads are interchangeable but it may help

the pad on the front of the motor to the left of the water pump..look for the letters 2 or 3 of them after the numbers..
