I am about to buy a car that has lein on it. if i
pay him today through car gurus, how long
will it take for me to get the title for the
vehicle?

Make sure the lien holder gets the money! I would insist on paying the lien holder directly! If you intend to use CG's you need to ask them as this is a car repair forum.

Sounds like you're buying from a private seller. Buying a car with a lien is a bad idea but there's ways around it if you do. The typical time frames vary but around 30 days after purchase. Good luck.
