What type of engine oil is recommended for my 2007 Subaru Liberty GT 2.5L? it has done 180,000km

id run 10-40 mobile 1 syn..if it was mine

5W-30 but if it uses oil do what Kelly says.

follow Subaru's recommendation, 10w-40 is for older cars

If yours is the 2.5 turbo I'd run Mobil1 5w30 exclusively. If 2.5i 10w40 dino is best year-round, as 5w is a bit skinny for hot weather consumption losses. Only the turbo should use it.
