First, find out how long they've been in business in the same location. If they're a new car dealership, that's better because they have a higher profile in the community and rely on new car sales, referrals, service, etc. You're always safer purchasing from a new car dealership. And new car dealerships usually have the cream of the crop for used cars. They ship the 2nd string vehicles to used car lots. Also, many new car dealerships offer a limited warranty on cars they sell, they don't want or can afford negative feedback, it hurts their reputation for selling and servicing new cars. Don't purchase any car "as is"......

Huh? New car dealerships simply have the highest prices...period. The query is too global to have any real value.
