How can you disable the security system in a 2007 Subaru outback impreza sport?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The security system is causing my car to
go all dumb. Sometimes it starts,
someone's it don't. I have to either lock it by
the remote and unlock it, unhook the
battery while the key is in the ON spot. I
know when it won't start when the security
light is flashing, and it flashes very rapidly.
How can I fix it?

Did you ever consider just having your car's systems recalibrated?
Where did you purchase your car? Dealership? I imagine you got this from a private party? OK, I would take this to my mechanic, sounds like a pain to go through what you're doing. And, the security system is on your car for a reason, why disable it?
Samantha, was the timing belt changed on your car, you should at least have it inspected? They're normally good for 10 years or 105,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The timing belt would not cause any of that, if they had to get a new key and it's not a Subaru dealership the vehicle immobilizer is not registered properly, also could be a bad bcm and or the vehicle is in a factory setting and needs to be changed.
