Can I install 225/60R17 tires onto my 2007 outback that currently has 225/55R17?

Question type: Car Customization
I have a 2007 Subaru Outback. My current tire size is 225/55R17. Someone is selling his brand new tires off of a 2014 Forester that measure 225/60R17. Will there be a problem with the fit if I purchase? None of the tire places can tell me without actually putting the tire on.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I called multiple service stations including the dealer. They all said they couldn't tell me without putting the tire on. Problem I have is that I would have to buy tires in order to do this.
these tires "should" fit unless the car is lowered.but stock height still has about 1.5" of clearance.
Can I switch my 22560r17 tires to 23560r17
jamesstoll did you ever put the 225 60 17 tires on and did they work fine?
