Power window

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 07 fusion the drivers side window
will go down but not up, I can jump it with
12 volts and it will go up. Could it still be
the motor? Any suggestions will be
appreciated

It might be the switch and that would need to be tested.

Check if voltage is applied to the motor when using the switch in the up mode. If voltage is applied and the motor does not move then I would suspect the motor.

Ok will try that thanks , but am still wondering why it will go up by jumping the switch
