will toyota ever put a nav system in the fj?

Hello, Actually, because GPS systems are still so new, I would recommend getting one that is *not* built into the car. I have had a Garmin C330 for over a year now, and got my fiance a TomTom for Christmas. New technology is being added to these things so fast that you will most likely want to replace the GPS before the car. I would surmise that Toyota will indeed put a GPS in its FJ Cruiser, but I would not find that to be a huge plus for that automobile. Best of luck! CarGrrl
Toyota is lacking behind a little in upgraded their cars to have navigations. Even the Sequoia, which runs for about $45,000, didn't come with navigation until last year. Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to the FJ having nav. There is talk that if Toyota does equip the FJ with Nav it will be a removable device that can be used while hiking or backpacking.
It actually have a special Navi system specifically designed for the FJ it gets built into the little compartment on top of the dash right in front of the driver. You can go to any Toyota Dealer and order one, that option run about $900
Have you got your nav system yet.... When Toyota launched the FJ Cruiser... they held in their back pocket the idea of releasing a Nav system for the following year. It is relatively inexpensive but to my knowledge does not have a back up camera feature or bluetooth. It is similar to the Scion navigation systems. I don't know if the unit can be added onto your car easily or cheaply post production.
you better hurry and get one because 2009 is the last make
