Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hi I have a 2007 vw jetta that won't start. I recently pulled a
fuse out of my Interior fuse box to replace my lighter fuse, I
don't remember where I pull it from but now my car won't
start. I replaced all the empty slots with new fuses and still
nothing. PLEASE HELP!!

I have the same car. Don't sweat it. You are probably over looking your ECT sensor. Do you get crank when you turn key? I need more information. Whatever you do don't crank it over and over and burn up the starter. I have the 1.8t. Simple fix. I need more information
I have the 2.5l dose not turn over but lights do come on
I've tried unhooking he battery for 5 mins to restart.. Still nothing
Would the etc sensor blow from taking out a fuse? Or is this like a safety thing?
No. Don't unhook the battery without having a memory saver. Then the key fob won't work. You might be over looking the crank sensor. A bad sensor or old not send sufficient spark to plug. It measures RPM off the crankshaft. The etc is part of your fueling strategy. I'd replace both the crank and ETC sensors. They are both relatively cheap
You need to get the fuse back where it goes. Maybe look in the owner's manual or do a Google search for fuse location and size.
Pulling a fuse would do that? And I have put the fuse back and then some lol
