RPM seems low when in idle

My car drops below 10 rpm's when in idle. It's running fine when driving, but
drops low every time I stop. Anyone have any clues to why this is happening?
Thank you so much!

Your 10 rpms on the tachometer is really X 100 or 1000 rpms. The normal idle speed for a gasoline engine in a car should be about 600-750 rpms. So what you have is about normal. The idle speed is set by the computer and can not be changed by mechanical adjustment like the old days. Nor would you want to. If you click on the A/C, it should go up a little to make the compressor work faster. Short answer: Not to worry.
