my radio doesn't turn on, and the lcd only displays the time. i can change the time, i can
also still control the climate, though i don't know what i'm changing it too because the lcd
doesn't display anything. i would at least like to know what the temperature in my car is. i
can live with playing music on my phone. but any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can order a replacement LCD from ebay and install it yourself. It may also be simply unplugged from the back if you bought the car that way. If it worked before and is no longer working then it possibly blew out. Most of the time only a portion of the display goes out and not a whole section as described. I would recommend uninstalling the unit and checking for connectivity.
