2007 Miata retractable hardtop maintenance

What maintenance is required?  Mine seems to be sticky.

I have a 2007 Touring Model with the retractable hardtop. Perhaps a little WD-40, used sparingly in all the joints may do the trick. That's what I would try. Not knowing what part of Texas you live in, nor the climate changes that occur, it could be extremes in hot to cold or vice-versa.
