Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 nissan altima that is leaking oil. It's
gotten to the point where I have to constantly poor
oil in everyday and there's a burning smell that lets
me know I need to put more oil in. Any idea what
exactly needs to be fixed. I don't have money to get
it looked at right now.

Until you find the source you can't fix the leak. Possibly a crank seal or a valve cover gasket.

If you are seeing leaked oil, that is one thing, but you could try changing the PCV valve. fairly cheap experiment. a bad one can cause oil consumption.

2007-2012 Altimas are notorious for having issues with the gasket & O-Ring in their oil pump. I'd start there if I were you.
