can all functions of the navigation system be unlocked so they work while driving and not just when you are stopped?

Question type: General

Many of the functions of the navigation system only work when the car is not moving. Is there any way to get these functions to work when the car is moving?

1 Answer

They are locked out to prevent distracted driving. Tasks taking more than a certain amount of time were locked-out intentionally. Trying to set a destination by address while driving is more dangerous than driving under he influence. Preset the destination before leaving, or use Nearby Places while driving.
